This image shows Main Street in Amagansett after the hurricane of 1938. According to a note on the back of this image, this picture was taken opposite the school once located on Main Street. Many uprooted trees are visible. This photograph was either taken or collected by Amagansett historian and librarian Carleton Kelsey.
