This is an autographed photo of Margaret Truman, the daughter of President Truman, and another gentleman, taken in Lakeland, Florida after a concert at Florida Southern College. The original photograph was taken by Perkins Brothers, but this is a copy made by Harrington Studio of Auburndale, Florida. Margaret Truman had a fledgling singing career, and she visited East Hampton twice in the 1950s, at one point visiting Home Sweet Home Museum. The card was addressed to Ruth Benjamin, the first Director of Home Sweet Home.
