Account book of the Mill Company, in Southold Township, N.Y., whose windmill was owned jointly by Moses C. Cleveland, Hezekiah Sandford, Joseph Reeves, and Samuel S. Vail, 1817-1821. The Mill Company windmill was located in Southold on the North Fork of Long Island, N.Y., and run by Moses Cleveland, Hezekiah Sandford, Joseph Reeves, and Samuel S. Vail, all co-owners. They processed locally grown agricultural products, such as corn, meslin (or mesling), wheat, provender, buck wheat, and rye.
